
Pakistan is showcasing its technological capabilities at annual IT and IT-enabled services exhibition “Web Summit 2026”, which is underway in Vancouver, Canada.
Establishing its footprint in North American technology landscape, Pakistan marked a significant presence at second edition of the global tech conference, bringing together innovators, investors, and industry leaders from across the world.
A six-member delegation of leading Pakistani IT companies is participating in the summit, showcasing cutting-edge, made-in-Pakistan IT products.
The Pakistan pavilion, sponsored by the Pakistan Software Export Board, was inaugurated by Consul General Shahzad Hussain.
The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver and the Trade and Investment Wing in Canada are providing on-ground B2B and networking support to facilitate meetings between Pakistani firms and international participants, enabling access to the Pacific Northwest’s high-growth technology corridor.
The Pakistani delegation is focusing on securing new business deals and joint ventures in artificial intelligence, fintech, and SaaS sectors in British Columbia, across Canada, and with other international counterparts.
The participation reflects Pakistan’s efforts to expose its fast-growing tech entrepreneurs to the North American IT ecosystem and global markets.
The event will continue till Thursday.
