Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet met in Islamabad with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.

It approved a summary submitted by the Ministry of National Food Security for provision of an additional 50,000 metric tons of PASSCO wheat to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the rate of 4,150 rupees per forty kilograms. The allocation would facilitate the province in meeting its wheat requirements.

The Committee approved a summary submitted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for provision of a Technical Supplementary Grant amounting to 2,674.13 million rupees  during the current financial year for federal public information and awareness campaigns and related publicity functions of the Ministry.

The meeting also approved technical supplementary grants submitted by Strategic Plans Division/SUPARCO, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Parliamentary Affairs Division.
