Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has said provision of quality health services to the people of Pakistan is foremost priority of the incumbent government.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said nursing department has a pivotal role in the health sector.

The Minister said the government is taking a number of steps for uplift of nursing department in line with the modern day requirements.

He said the government introduced an ordinance to ensure good governance in the nursing department, which has been dispatched to the President office after approval by the Prime Minister.
